Four skater awards were given out for the first time ever!

Vicki Nolan received the Ambassador Award for representing FHFSC in the greatest number of competitions.

Lindsey Cooper received the Shooting Star Award for receiving the greatest number of top-three competition placements in the level Preliminary and below.

Max Sokoloff received the Flying Star Award for receiving the greatest number of top-three competition placements at the level of Pre-Juvenile and above.

India Johnson received the Hannah E. Vertin Triple Gold Award for the skater who has shown good work ethic and passed the highest number of tests at the highest levels beyond Preliminary in at least three disciplines in a given year.

Congratulations to all of our award winners!

Our Fantasia Synchronized Skating Teams skated at the "Skate for the Cure" benefit on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Compuware Sports Arena, and medaled at the ISI Synchronized Championships in Chicago in April, 2011.

Congratulations to coach ANN BARR who was appointed a US Figure Skating Singles Technical Specialist at the National level. She has also recently received her Sectional Pair appointment. Congratulations again Ann.

Welcome to the new and returning committee chairs, board members and officers.

NOTE POLICY CHANGE: All figure skating ice between 6:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. Tues. through Thurs. MUST BE PREPAID. Only skaters who currently have a prepaid swipe card, punch card, or coupons are permitted to skate during these morning hours. Skaters who pay for drop-in must skate during the afternoon hours only. The front office will not be staffed, so no cash transactions will take place. This includes punch card purchases.

Board meetings are on the third Tuesdays of the month in the arena at 6:30 PM as follows except as parenthetically noted:
